Amy Klein is a New York Times weekly columnist, journalist and author. Over the past 15 years as a reporter, her work has appeared in The Los Angeles Times, Salon, Slate, NPR, MSN, BBC Travel, Brain World Magazine, The Forward and even Hustler Magazine.
Amy’s website and brand, “Klein’s Lines,” employs sparse, minimalist design with monotype and faux-typewriter typeface. For the homepage, I built a fun Flash animation with the same themes. Being a writer, text, rather than images, serve as the central focus of the site. The site features an extremely simple Joomla CMS administrative back-end for easy uploading of new content.
